Receptionist

Purposes:

Receptionists are the first face and voice that guests and clients experience. Receptionists accommodate visitors by welcoming and assisting them appropriately, notifying internal employees of visitor arrival, and maintaining the phone and e-mail systems.

Responsibilites:

  • Greets visitors in person or on the telephone, and answers to incoming inquiries.
  • Accommodates visitors by maintaining internal directories and giving directions.
  • Maintains security by following internal procedures, issuing visitor badges and promoting usage of the logbook.
  • Manages the telecommunication system by following manufacturer’s instructions for house phone and console operation.
  • Maintains a presentable and clean reception area by recognizing company procedures
  • Maintains workmanship among internal teams by documenting and communicating actions and ongoing needs.
  • Contributes to the company as a whole by assisting employees as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

Phone skills, written and verbal communication, Microsoft Office proficiency, professionalism, customer focus, superior organization and works well under pressure
