Ensure data in client’s accounting software is accurate and updated timely. Must understand and adhere to the company’s processes to ensure the accuracy of the financial statements. This person will be required to work onsite at the company’s location.
MANAGE CLIENT DOCUMENTS
- Check that documents are received from client by the scheduled time.
- Contact client if documents are not received according to the due dates.
- Respond, in timely manner, to questions about client documents.
- Retrieve client documents via secure online account access.
FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS
- Ability to download of digital data from financial institution websites.
- Import data into QuickBooks Online.
- Classify transactions to the chart of accounts.
- Record payroll journal entries.
- Make general journal entries.
- Pay vendor bills in a timely manner.
- Create invoices to customers.
- Record cash receipts and vendor bills.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure the accuracy of the work.
- Develop and maintain client relationships through regular communication.
- Monitors and issues A/P and A/R reports.
- Request W9 documentation.
- Perform tasks associated with special projects.
- Complete tasks timely and accurately.
Administrative
- Provides feedback on procedures and policies to improve efficiency and ensure sound financial practices.
- Submits time and expense information for each client.
- Manages time worked to budgeted time.
- Maintains client specific procedures.
- Stores and maintains all digital documents.
- Protects the integrity of all confidential client data.
Teamwork
- Works cooperatively to improve processes, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance our effectiveness.

Qualifications & Competencies
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles.
- 1-2 years’ experience.
- Some experience with CPA firm is a plus.
