Ellen Dettling

Ellen Dettling

President and Co-Founder of City Staffing, Ellen draws on over 20 years of experience in project implementation and recruiting strategy. Her high energy, collaborative approach creates long lasting professional relationships while providing the highest level of service to clients, ensuring that all business objectives are met. Ellen has served on the committees of various organizations throughout her career, including SHRP, where she worked to advance the capabilities of HR professionals through developing and executing organizational strategies, and HRMAC, a forum for HR leaders, practitioners, service providers and business executives charged with designing and delivering workforce strategies to drive superior business performance. She has also served as a member of the Illinois Staffing Association, an organization comprised of professional staffing firms providing temporary and direct hire staffing solutions to a wide array of companies and industries.

Daphne Dolan

Daphne Dolan

Joining the City Staffing team as CEO in 2000, Daphne Dolan brings a unique blend of HR, marketing, and education to her important role. Daphne began her career as an English/History teacher and coach, spending several years developing the minds and athletic abilities of her students. She later joined AC Nielsen in Ireland, where she was responsible for the maintenance and development of relationships with key Fortune 500 accounts such as Coca Cola, Guinness Brewing Company, Mars/Master Foods and Kraft. After being transferred to AC Nielsen in Chicago, Daphne’s creative market approach and customer focus yielded continued success. Eventually trading her marketing savvy for a career in human resources, she quickly earned a reputation for excellent talent development while providing outstanding customer service in the Chicagoland area. Daphne has held a board position with Pro Nurse, is an active member of the Union League Club, and has been involved for many years with various industry organizations.
