Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Content Strategist to help shape and elevate the customer experience across digital products, communications, and branded touchpoints. This role is ideal for a strategic storyteller who understands how thoughtful content can simplify complex information, strengthen user engagement, and build trust throughout the customer journey.
The ideal candidate combines exceptional writing skills with a strong understanding of user experience principles and can collaborate effectively with design, product, marketing, and business stakeholders to create clear, impactful communications.
Senior Content Strategist Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain content strategies that support customer engagement across digital products and communication channels
- Create clear, concise, and customer-focused content for user journeys, onboarding experiences, notifications, support resources, and digital interfaces
- Establish and maintain content standards, style guidelines, and brand voice consistency across platforms
- Partner with Product, Design, Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve customer experiences through effective content
- Participate in product development discussions to ensure content considerations are incorporated early in the design process
- Review and refine content based on customer feedback, performance metrics, and user behavior insights
- Conduct content audits and identify opportunities to improve messaging consistency and usability
- Support testing initiatives by evaluating content performance and recommending enhancements
- Mentor team members and contribute to best practices for content creation and governance
- Maintain high standards for accuracy, readability, accessibility, and inclusivity
- Assist with strategic initiatives and special projects as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Senior Content Strategist Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, UX Design, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in content strategy, UX writing, content design, copywriting, or digital communications
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience across digital products, customer journeys, and brand communications
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Experience developing and maintaining voice and tone guidelines
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, user-friendly messaging
- Strong understanding of user experience principles and content design methodologies
- Experience collaborating with product managers, designers, marketers, and cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with design and collaboration platforms such as Figma, Jira, or similar tools preferred
- Data-driven mindset with experience using customer feedback and performance metrics to guide content decisions
- Experience with AI-enabled content tools and evolving digital communication technologies is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities simultaneously
