BENEFITS & WELLNESS

Your Benefits Package

We offer a benefits package designed to support your health, financial well-being, commute, and work-life balance. From healthcare coverage to retirement savings and paid time off, we want our employees to feel supported throughout every stage of their career.

Healthcare

Full-time employees can choose between a major medical plan or a supplemental health plan based on their needs. We also offer Vision, Dental, Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital Indemnity coverage, while part-time employees have access to supplemental plan options. Eligibility begins on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.

Retirement

After one year of service, employees have the option to enroll in our 401(k) profit sharing plan, which includes a 3% company match. It is one more way we help employees plan for their future while building a long-term career with us.

Time Off

We understand that time away from work is an important part of overall wellness. Vacation requests and sick days are processed in compliance with local ordinances so employees can take the time they need to recharge, manage personal responsibilities, and maintain balance.

How City Staffing Pays & Supports You

Payroll & Getting Paid

Once you are placed on assignment, your hours are tracked through City Staffing’s employee portal and processed through weekly payroll. After your timesheet is approved, you are paid via direct deposit on the weekly pay cycle. This ensures a consistent and reliable payroll process for all temporary employees and contract assignments.

You are paid weekly for the hours you worked during the prior pay period. Once your timesheet is submitted and approved, your pay is processed and deposited on the designated payroll day. Timely submission and supervisor approval are required to avoid delays in payment.

Timesheets & Employee Portal

All employees submit hours through the City Staffing employee portal. You’ll receive login credentials during onboarding, then enter your hours worked each week for supervisor approval. This digital timesheet system ensures accurate payroll processing and helps streamline the staffing agency workflow.

Timesheets must be submitted by the weekly deadline (Monday, 9:00 AM CT) to ensure on-time payroll processing. Late submissions or missing approvals can delay payment until the next payroll cycle. We recommend submitting early to avoid any disruptions in your staffing agency pay schedule.

If a timesheet is missed, your payment may be delayed until the following payroll cycle. If this happens, contact your City Staffing recruiter or payroll support team immediately so we can help resolve it as quickly as possible.

Benefits & Candidate Support

Eligible employees may have access to benefits such as health and dental insurance options, depending on assignment type and eligibility requirements. City Staffing also provides weekly pay and direct deposit to support financial stability for contract and temporary workers.

Benefit eligibility depends on assignment type and hours worked. If you qualify, you will be informed during onboarding and provided instructions for enrollment. Our team ensures you understand exactly what benefits apply to your specific role.

Support & Communication

Your City Staffing recruiter is your main point of contact for any assignment-related questions. This includes scheduling, job expectations, workplace concerns, or updates from your client site. We act as your career advocate throughout your staffing assignment.

For any payroll or timesheet issues, contact your City Staffing recruiter or support team immediately. They will work directly with payroll to resolve discrepancies related to hours, approvals, or direct deposit.

Referral Program

City Staffing offers a referral bonus when you refer a candidate who is successfully placed and completes 100 hours of service. To participate, when your referral is completing the application, make sure they select “Were you referred?” and enter your first and last name. This program rewards candidates for helping us connect great talent with great opportunities.

A $250 referral bonus will be paid after your referred candidate is placed and completes the 100 hours. Once confirmed, your bonus is processed through payroll and issued on a scheduled payment cycle.
