Longtime staffing leader combines her woman-owned firm with City Staffing
CHICAGO, Nov. 10, 2026 – City Staffing, a women-owned staffing and recruiting firm founded in Chicago and serving employers nationwide, today announced that Colleen Saleh has joined the firm as Executive Director of Strategy. Saleh is combining CKL Staffing, the certified woman-owned firm she launched in 2022, with City Staffing.
Saleh brings 25 years of sales and client development experience to the role. At CKL Staffing, she worked with hiring managers across the United States on contract, contract-to-hire and direct hire placements in accounting, IT, project management, human resources and administrative roles. She previously held business development roles at RodgersHouder, Global Rhymes and Smart Resources, and owned an employee benefits consulting firm for 16 years.
Saleh has known City Staffing founder and president Ellen Dettling and CEO Daphne Dolan for more than 15 years. That history, along with a shared approach to client service, led to the decision to bring the two businesses together.

Saleh will continue working directly with her clients as they transition to City Staffing. Those clients gain access to City Staffing’s recruiting team, whose recruiters average more than 10 years of experience, along with the firm’s temporary, temp-to-hire, project-based and direct hire services.

Looking ahead, City Staffing expects the addition of Saleh and her client relationships to extend its reach with hiring managers in accounting and finance, IT, project management, HR and administrative functions.
