Purpose:
Fully supports and enhances executives’ success and effectiveness by providing information management support and representing the executive.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains information by transcribing, formatting, and editing text and data.
- Conserves executive’s time by reading, researching, and corresponding to inbound communication; drafting e-mails and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating meetings.
- Maintains executive’s calendar and appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences and travel.
- Represents the executive by attending meetings and speaking on his or her behalf.
- Welcomes guests and customers both in person and on the phone, and responds to incoming inquiries.
- Maintains customer confidence and keeps information confidential.
- Completes projects by assigning tasks to the internal clerical staff, manages the process, and follows up on results.
- Prepares reports and analyzes data.
- Maintains office supply inventory by determining inventory level, anticipates needed supplies, places orders and verifies receipts.
- Contributes to overall team effort by accomplishing requested results.
