Marketing Coordinator

Purpose:

Markets products and supports sales activity by developing marketing and advertising campaigns; tracking sales data; planning meetings; preparing reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by preparing and analyzing sales activity insight; preparing marketing strategies and plans; planning and organizing promotional presentations; updating calendars.
  • Tracks sales and costs by analyzing and entering revenue, expense and new business data.
  • Supports sales staff by providing sales data and revenue; market research and trends; account analyses; relaying account communication and customer service requests.
  • Researches competition by identifying and evaluating product and service attributes, market share, pricing, and advertising.
  • Plans meetings and conferences by identifying and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; compiling mailing lists.
  • Plans and monitors department budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Achieves company goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; researching opportunities to add value and increase profit to specific projects.
  • Basic administrative tasks, including: correspondence, ordering inventory, scheduling, shipping packages and letters, receiving and distributing messages.
