Public Relations Specialist

Purpose:

Responsible for creating and fostering a positive public image for the organization and its clients. This is achieved by managing the communication and image between a company and the public, investors, and the press.

Responsibilities:

  • Support PR and AR campaigns across all key areas of relationship and communication. This includes: media and analyst relations, award submissions, events, social media speaking engagements, news announcements, and internal/external communications.
  • Coordinate and craft press releases, including researching content and managing online distribution. Experience with social media, wire services and website content management systems are a plus.
  • Should be able to creatively brainstorm ideas, which will help the marketing team tell exciting stories, promote them, and track the results for future improvement.
  • Heavily utilize social media to share and promote content and engage with the community.
  • Analyze and measure the results of PR, AR and social media platform engagement.
  • Manage, consume and distill analyst research for executive, product marketing, marketing, and sales enablement.

 

Skills/Qualifications: 

A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or English is typically preferred. The associate should be open to a flexible and change-filled environment, have a strong business acumen, be strategic and creative, have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
