City Staffing’s client, a Financial Institution located in Downtown Chicago, is looking for reliable and professional Receivables Operations Associates. According to client requirements, all applicants MUST be able to pass a state, county, and federal criminal background check, as well as a drug test. 

*Previous Lockbox experience required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Processing batches of work by extracting checks and remittances from envelopes 
-Verifying negotiability of checks following customer’s instructions 
-Prioritize work to meet strict deadlines while performing duties with accuracy and speed 

Additional responsibilities include but are not inclusive to:
-Re-associating check images to corresponding material while validating quality of images 
-Individual will be part of a team and will be assigned specific responsibilities within that team 
-Although specific assignments will be the individual’s primary responsibility, they will be expected to contribute to meeting the team’s goals 
-Individual will be relied upon to make judgment calls regarding routine duties but must refer non-routine situations to the specific Team Lead or Supervisor 
-Due to the sensitivity of meeting our customer’s deadlines, production volumes may dictate the work schedule 

Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Individual must demonstrate aptitude to work accurately and efficiently within stringent deadlines 
-Must have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment 
-Excellent attendance and punctuality are required 
-Must be able to demonstrate flexibility to meet deadlines within a changing environment in order to meet customer needs 
-Proven ability to multi-task and utilize good judgment 
-PC skills are required and good hand-to-eye coordination
-Previous Lockbox experience a plus, but not required
-PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Prolonged sitting 
-Must be flexible with time and schedule, overtime may be required
