City Staffing is currently looking for an experienced receptionist/administrative assistant with a background in the construction industry. Our client, who provides a full range of construction services including, but not limited to, build-outs and renovations of corporate interiors, retail interiors, large-scale residential development, building lobby renovations, is located in the Chicago Loop. This is a temp to permanent role starting immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming calls
- Monitor and restock office supplies
- Send and receive expedited shipping (FedEx, messenger service, etc.)
- Coordinate with outside vendors for IT repairs and service
- Assist with monthly progress invoicing and acquiring lien waivers from subcontractors
Qualifications:
- Must demonstrate professionalism and etiquette in verbal and written communications
- MS Office proficiency
- Ability to organize and maintain control over multiple tasks
- Construction office experience
- Accounting software experience a plus (SAGE)
- Office hours 8am-5pm
