Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all aspects of the event planning process, including collaboration with subcontractors, venue identification, booth reservation, contract and agreement processing, CRT process coordination (if needed), printing and design of event marketing materials
  2. Assist with trade show event planning document(s) preparation and proactively inform event attendees of all logistics related to a given event
  3. Coordinate hotel reservation and trade show event registration for entire team attending a given event
  4. Prepare trade show event cost estimates and ensure budget adherence
  5. Work with internal teams and event organizers to coordinate availability and shipment of the organization’s booth assets and marketing material while ensuring appropriate furnishing of the organization’s booths
  6. Ensure sales team and internal key stakeholders have all marketing material (print and digital) necessary to attend a show and properly represent the organization
  7. Create summary reports of each event outlining how data gathered from current events can be used to develop successful future events and ensure leads are tracked in Salesforce by sales team
  8. Identify potential opportunities to showcase the organization’s initiatives and speaking engagement at trade shows, conferences and events and creates campaigns to capitalize on those opportunities

Position Dimensions:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing or a related field
  2. 4+ years’ event management experience with proven experience in trade show planning and executing trade shows and other corporate events
  3. 4+ years’ experience with marketing collateral development
  4. Proven track record of identifying and maximizing event opportunities
  5. Must be a self-starter who requires little to no supervision to meet corporate goals
  6. Excellent time management and project management skills required
  7. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written business communications skills
  8. Exceptional attention to details
